How sensentive it is when your palm touchs the pad? I saw some people have to hang their elbow during the writting on their tablet to avoid touching the pad. Very awkward...
How big is the file? Does it come with character recognition software? I am just wondering whether it would be practical to use it to replace my traditional notebook in the class...
I don't know the answer to that. I haven't been using any character recognition. There is a note taking software that saves only in images. I have played with some vista-based tablets at fry's. I don't think they work very well. Basically, I haven't seen any handwritting recognition that works well so far.

笔在这个写字板上写出来的字有点像用毛笔写的，能够显出一点顿钩撇捺的力道，不知是否配有各种不同粗细的笔，用它练练毛笔字挺方便。很多年前我曾邀请一位入日本籍的中国人来科大访问，他在日本开发写字板，并捐款在北京南京中学内教用写字板画国画，效果还挺不错。对了，好像毅毅在东京时和我一起见过此人，叫大岛，记得还请我们吃了顿饭。
